Cheeseburger Hash

CHEESEBURGER HASH

Teenage Daughter says this taste like a hamburger you put potatoes on.  She even ate hers with ketchup on it cause she's gross.  lol  Boy A said it was AWESOME! and Boy B & Big Daddy even had seconds!!
10-12 Large Russet Potatoes
3/4lb Hamburger
1 Packet Au Jus
1 Can Beef Broth
Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
Creole Seasoning
Minced Dried Onion
Garlic Pepper

Dice Potatoes into bite sized pieces.
Don't let anyone tell you it's OK to use frozen.
They are life ruiners that only want to ruin your life.

Fry hamburger with seasonings to taste.  You can totally use fresh onion.
I hate biting into onion, but love the flavor it gives food, so I use the dried onion that just melts away.

Once meat is browned, add potatoes, one cup of water, Au Jus packet and can of beef broth.
Mix it all together.

Cover and simmer on LOW/MED for one hour or until potatoes are tender.
Be sure to stir every 10 minutes or so to keep everything cooking evenly and to stop
the potatoes from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Cover with cheese, replace lid and cook until cheese is all good and melty.

SERVE!

This is comfort food at its finest.  We all LOVE it!
It was the perfect meal for a cold night.
